Collision.
A philosophy of changing perspectives.
Collision is a collection of seven works that will spur a realization and an awakening in the viewer if they will look into the details. Because of the way we have lived during the industrial age we are forced to reevaluate the way we use our resources. Learning this lesson is critical and should be applied to the way we approach life. Using scrap, recycled materials and waste as a basis - we can make very real connections to our own lives. What at first seems chaotic can eventually turn into something beautiful or may already be. Things that appear beautiful may in reality be decaying on the inside. What seems worthless is actually valuable and what might appear dead is merely waiting to be born. Collision let’s us look at life from above or figuratively from a step back - as we should do with our own personal lives. The real beauty is in the process not simply the end product. Every moment we are alive here on this earth should be considered precious and every resource a gift to be used with responsibility.
“I want people to see beauty where they may never have seen it before - in details and experiences. We have to look at life through the eyes of others sometimes just to see what has always been there. This allows us to appreciate and learn from life’s experiences and strive to be more responsible with what we have”.
God is good.
